Alexis Sánchez is in the middle of a judicial problem, this after being sued by the real estate broker Engel & Völkers.
As reported Financial Diarythe situation dates back to 2021, when El Niño Maravilla bought Fundo El Galeno, in Paine, to develop a boutique vineyard.
Thus, the player fully acquired the land for 8.7 million dollars. However, everything became complicated for Sánchez after Engel & Völkers filed a lawsuit in the 30th Civil Court of Santiago in July 2022, because “they found out that Mr. Sánchez was having direct conversations with the owners of Fundo El Galeno… ignoring to the E&V brokerage”.
According to the broker, the athlete never paid the commission for his management in the sale of that fund, which is valued at 142 million pesos. Following the accusations, Alexis released a document through his lawyer Mónica Vilches, in which he rejects the accusations, stating that a fee for said services equivalent to 2% of the sale price of the property was not agreed “with the plaintiff.”
Despite all this, the vineyard project is quite advanced, where they even already have experts in the agro-industrial and oenology fields.
