The announcement was made this Thursday by the governor of Santander, Mauricio Aguilar, who reported that “although the contract was budgeted until 2025, an agreement was reached to liquidate this concession.”
Aguilar Hurtado said that “this concession has reached its useful life. We see the need for a new model that allows greater investment to be generated through toll collection and to put an end to road trauma.”
The Departmental president said that the official announcement will be made in the next few days, but work is already being done on the liquidation agreement.
