Kitzbuehel – Dominic Thiem is in an ATP quarterfinals for the third time this year. The Lower Austrian won his round of 16 at the Kitzbühel Generali Open against the Chinese on Wednesday Zhang Zhizhen with 1:6,6:3,6:2 and now plays against the French on Thursday Arthur Rinderknech for his first tour semi-final in 2023. Sebastian Ofner however, suffered a 6:4.5:7.6:7(5) defeat against the Slovak Alex Molcan. Filip Misolic and Dennis Novak were eliminated in round one.
