Firefighters from the VHP zone intervened around midnight for a fire which affected a house in Thimister-Clermont, rue Roiseleux.
The ground floor was completely destroyed, but no casualties were reported. “They were able to get out before,” reassures Lambert Demonceau the mayor. The house is occupied by young people in their twenties. The disaster is complete on the ground floor. The social service is responsible for finding temporary accommodation for the two occupants.
For the moment, it is unknown what could have caused such damage. On site this Wednesday morning, the owner of the premises refused to comment.
