Maria Sosa passed away. She was the third victim of the fire registered on Wednesday morning in the La Linda sector of guigue. Two other family members died early Thursday.
The 69-year-old woman also did not resist the burns she suffered on 80% of her body following the fire that was allegedly caused by a domestic gas leak in the Sosa family’s house.
After the fire, Maria, Martín (75) and Yasmila (47) suffered serious burns on almost all of their bodies. They were rushed to the Ciudad Hospitalaria Dr. Enrique Tejera (Chet) where they died.
According to a preliminary report, the event would have been caused by a gas leak in a 43-kilo cylinder, which would have caused the fire, which spread to a mechanical workshop that worked on the spot. In addition to the human losses, three vehicles and a motorcycle were also burned.
