Thiruvananthapuram: The Grameen Bharat Bant of Samyukta Kisan Morcha will be held today from 6 am to 4 pm. Demonstrations will be held in Kerala to show moral support to Bant. Shops, commercial establishments and offices will function. The transport system will not be affected. State Samara Samiti Coordination Chairman and Secretary of Kerala Farmers Sangh M. Vijayakumar informed. CPM has extended moral support to Bant in Delhi.

The State President of the Kerala Merchants and Traders Coordinating Committee, S. S. Manoj informed. But debt markets will not close. He also said that the organization is trying hard to free the traders from the strike mode of closing down the debt markets.
