Thiruvananthapuram: SSLC, THSLC and AHSLC exams will start today. 4,27,105 lakh students are appearing for the exam in 2971 centers including Lakshadweep and Gulf. 2811 candidates will appear in THSLC category and 60 candidates will appear in AHSLC category. There are 2955 examination centers in the state alone.
Nine in Lakshadweep and seven in the Gulf region. 630 students in Gulf and 285 in Lakshadweep are appearing for the exam. Today the first language exam will be held. The exam will be from 9.30 am to 11.15 am. 9.30 am to 12.15 pm for English, Mathematics and Social Science subjects. There will be a 15 minute cool off time.
The exam will end on 25th. Minister V Sivankutty said that the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination have been completed. The minister said that all children should appear in the exam with confidence. The minister also wished the students well.
