The PC Gaming Show got the ball rolling with a resplendent trailer for one of the big games in its line-up: Frostpunk 2. Announced a year ago, the management game has returned to impose its atmosphere with a trailer at devour below.

This Sunday, June 11 was particularly important in video game news: it marked the advent of the Xbox Showcase, with the appearance of Fable, Starfield or even Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom City, but also from the PC Gaming Show. Always within the framework of the famous Summer Game Fest of Geoff Keighly, it is Frostpunk 2 which opened the ball seriously.
The first time we heard about the title was in August 2021: the management game has therefore returned with great fanfare with a first-class technical trailer, testifying to the particularly polished atmosphere against a backdrop of civil war and climatic catastrophe.
A neat management game
Building on the success of the first episode, 11 bit Studios is doing it again with Frostpunk 2: it is still a management game with advanced mechanics, whose context is planted in a universe ravaged by the oil crisis. The player thus finds himself at the head of a city which wants to be the last salvation of humanity, with all that that implies. And the program does not look easy.
As a reminder, the studio has in particular inflated its teams to allow “great possibilities of choice”, always focused on “survival against human values, life against the Arctic freeze” with a real political and societal aspect.
