This IKEA piece of furniture costs 159€ but will become the new essential of your interior

Design and home

Ikea has not finished surprising us with objects and designs that are ever more adapted to our new needs. The Swedish giant has just unveiled a new unusual object that risks becoming the new essential in your home.

STARKVIND, this is the name of this new design object that we will be inviting into our interiors in 2023. We have been spending more and more time at home since confinement, either because we are teleworking more, or because we have kept our old habits of confinement. However, you should know that the air we breathe inside our homes is on average eight times more polluted than the air outside. The concern is that this indoor pollution can be responsible for several ailments, such as respiratory allergies or irritation and dryness in the eyes, throat or nose. Some may suffer from asthma, headaches, fatigue and even difficulty concentrating.

The solution ? Ventilate of course, preferably early in the morning and late in the evening. But you can also decide to invest in an air purifier. IKEA has just released a brand new model for guaranteed discretion and comfort since it comes in the form… of a side table. The purifier can be set to auto mode to automatically detect airborne particles and adjust its fan speed. Plus, it’s quiet. So we can completely forget about it.

His price ? 159€. We are told that it is able to purify the air in a space of up to 20 square meters. If the area of the room is more than 20m², it will take more time to purify the air. You can also opt for a second purifier. What we particularly like is its slick design, which we choose in light wood and white or dark brown wood and black to blend in with all interior styles.
