This is how Ecuadorians are preparing for the first national blackout

For maintenance, Ecuador is preparing to face the first of several nationwide blackouts planned by the Government due to the energy crisis facing the country. Citizens have taken to the streets to buy rechargeable light bulbs and other accessories to supply themselves in the absence of electricity. The productive sector is very concerned about the losses that this may entail. Ana María Cañizares walked the streets and businesses of Quito and this is what she found.
