In January 2024, the Icon of the Seas of Royal Caribbean, which will become the largest cruise ship in the world, surpassing the Wonder of the Seas which made its maiden voyage in January 2022 and from May had its season in the Mediterranean. Capacity for 7,600 passengers
The new largest cruise ship in the world will be 365 meters long, will have 20 decks (or floors), eight different neighborhoods, 2,805 cabins and seven swimming pools, among other facilities. In turn, the ship will house the largest water park on the sea (Thrill Island) and Surfside, the first neighborhood designed for young families who choose to spend their vacations sailing.
The Icon of the Seas will have capacity for a maximum of 7,600 cruise passengers and 2,350 crew members.

Once in serviceIcon of the Seas will sail year-round, on seven-night voyages through the Eastern and Western Caribbean from Miami. Each cruise will visit Royal Caribbean’s highest-rated private island, CocoCay (Bahamas), and a mix of destinations including Cozumel, Mexico; Philipsburg, Saint Martin; and Basseterre, San Cristobal.
