We didn’t prepare anything before the game. I looked up, looked at the keeper, saw that he had stepped up and was a bit distracted. So I asked my team-mate to move and not touch the ball, and I shot directly at the goal after the whistle,” said Giardina, quoted by the Italian portal TuttoCampo.
