Son Heung-min, who joined Tottenham in 2015, has been consistently active except for the first season.
In the 2015-16 season, which was his first challenge on the English stage, he scored only four league goals. However, when he took his heart and finished his adaptation period, he took off in a splendid fashion.
Starting with 14 league goals in the second season, he succeeded in scoring double-digits in the league for six consecutive seasons. In the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons, he also achieved 10-10 league goals (10 goals-10 assists or more) for two consecutive seasons.
Son Heung-min, who had renewed his career high every year, rose to the top of the league last season. He scored 23 goals and was co-scorer with Mohamed Salah (Liverpool).
Naturally, expectations for this season have grown even higher. But Son Heung-min remains silent. He has appeared in all three league games but is recording only one assist. Above all, his performance itself is not as good as before.
