This Thursday in the Encuentro interview with Julio Villagrán, the ARENA deputy, Francisco Lira, assured that if his party achieved two deputies in the Legislative Assembly it is because people still trust them. Furthermore, he stressed that they are not representatives elected by residuals but by quotient.

Lira affirmed that ARENA has important leadership in San Salvador and La Libertad, and that it is for this reason that the party was able to obtain two deputies in the Legislative Assembly.

Regarding the municipal elections, Lira stated that they are about to face strong competition on March 3, where Nuevas Ideas could lose the majority of deputies due to its poor management in the municipalities, but he assured that this will happen. if the ruling party does not carry out fraud as in the February 4 elections.
