Microsoft’s board of directors expressed full support for Nintendo’s potential acquisition. This information was revealed by a recently leaked email from the company’s head of gaming.
A monumental merger in video game history
This merger between Microsoft and Nintendo, if it had taken place, would have marked the most significant event in the history of video games. However, it would have required Nintendo’s cooperation with Microsoft’s offer. However, it was discovered after a user on gaming forum Resetera noticed a seemingly mundane statement. This, shared by the court, contained attachments with Microsoft’s plans for acquiring Nintendo.
