Recently, the income tax department raided the houses of around 10 YouTubers in Kerala. The raid was conducted on a complaint related to tax evasion. Later, news came out that tax evasion of around 25 crore rupees was found. Actress and presenter Pearli Mani’s house was also raided. But the actor did not respond regarding the raid at that time. Now the actor has expressed his reaction through Metta’s new app Threads.
“Recently an IT raid took place at my house. I found out later. They watched the movie ‘Ludo’ on Netflix. Sheeja, the character I played in it, felt real.’ Pearly Mani wrote.
Ludo is a film directed by Anurag Basu. In this 2020 release, Pearly played Sheeja Thomas, a Malayali who tries to escape by stealing Don’s money box.
