This robust smartphone promises a week of autonomy thanks to an XXL battery

A new phone promises autonomy… One week. This is the Oukitel WP19. A smartphone which has a battery of 21,000 mAh and that we do not see on any other device, explains Frandroid this Wednesday.

The model can operate for thirty-six hours in video playback and 123 hours (just over five days) for listening to music, and one hour less in call mode. In standby, the smartphone can stay 2,252 hours without turning off.

It can be used as a battery

The WP19 can also be used as a battery and power other objects such as headphones, a connected watch or even another smartphone. To recharge its battery, the smartphone needs four hours using a power of 27 W. One hour of charging is equivalent to one day of use.

Specification-wise, the Oukitel WP19 comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. The main photo sensor is 64 Mpx, the night one 20 Mpx and the macro sensor 2 Mpx. The WP19 has the latest Android 12, NFC and Bluetooth 5.0. The device is sold for 687.81 euros on AliExpress. But beware, for French consumers, the bands it uses are not necessarily compatible with French networks, point Frandroid. And it will take some getting used to a design that is robust to say the least.
