Argentina will beat the cup this time: Brazil
Only days are left for the World Cup football excitement to take off from the soil of Qatar.
Football fans are anxiously waiting to see which teams will qualify for the final at Lucille Stadium on December 18.
The World Cup semi-final matches will be held on December 14 and 15. In the first match, Latin American champions and tournament favorites Argentina will take on last year’s runners-up Croatia at the Lucille Stadium.
But now the Brazilian Football Confederation has come with the wish that Argentina get the World Cup.
Brazil Football Confederation Vice President Fernando Sarne has come out with the wish that Argentina win the World Cup.
Currently, Argentina is the only Latin American team among the four remaining teams in the World Cup.
He said that although the Argentina-Brazil rivalry in football is real, many Brazilians want Argentina to win the World Cup.
“We have to continue with unity. Now we are all Argentina. I hope they bring that title to South America,’ said Fernando Sarne.
Meanwhile, in the second semi-final of the World Cup, France will face African powers Morocco. If Argentina and Morocco lose in the semi-finals, the France-Croatia final will be a repeat of the last World Cup final.
Four Latin American countries qualified for the World Cup and reached Qatar. In which Brazil was eliminated in the quarter-finals. Uruguay and Ecuador were eliminated in the group stage.
