Thomas Müller retires from the German national team

“After almost fourteen years and 131 international matches, I have decided to end my career in the German national team,” announced Thomas Müller, the 34-year-old striker of Bayern Munich, in a video published on his Instagram page. “Hello!” – in the video, Müller, the world champion in 2014, said goodbye to his teammates and fans, whom he thanked for the past years.

Müller made his debut as a member of the German national team in 2010, in a match once morest Argentina. He played in a total of 131 matches in the national team, of which he scored 45 times.
