When Prince George and Princess Charlotte attended Thomas’s Battersea School in southwest London, Princess Kate often dropped them off there to give them as “normal” a childhood as possible. But the fathers in particular regularly ignored them. Another woman took center stage.
Thomas’s Battersea School: Princess Kate is overshadowed
You would think that a princess would attract everyone’s attention, reports the Daily Mail. However, it turned out that the future queen was ignored at the school gate – because one of the other mothers was a well-known underwear model.
An anonymous source jokingly told the Mirror: “No one really gives Kate a second look when she drops the kids off at school. We also have a Victoria’s Secret model dropping off the kids and the dads are much more into her interested.” It is not revealed which model this is.
However, according to Duncan Larcombe, a well-known royal commentator, it is more important for Kate to contribute as a mother than to be the center of attention.

“Like normal parents”: William and Kate help with school events
As the commentator told the British “OK! Magazine”, Kate “comes from a loving family and therefore attaches great importance to family and friendly relationships.” Duncan Larcombe also explained that Kate’s own experienced upbringing was a “role model” for raising her children.
Additionally, as parents, William and Kate are “very good at rolling up their sleeves and helping out with school events, sports days, fundraisers, things like that. They try to be like normal parents with normal parenting responsibilities.” Prince George has now left school and is currently attending Lambrook School near Windsor.
