Unraveling a Unity Lane Drug Operation

The investigation began at approximately 2:00 p.m. when troopers observed Mark Boyd conducting several suspected drug transactions on Unity Lane. Subsequent detective work revealed a coordinated enterprise.

Detectives moved in to take all three suspects into custody without incident. Subsequent searches of the identified properties and vehicles yielded a significant stash of illicit substances, including approximately 16.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 11.4 grams of suspected heroin, and 6.8 grams of suspected cocaine. Law enforcement also recovered roughly $1,500 in suspected drug proceeds, three digital scales, and various drug packaging materials.

The Charges and Legal Aftermath

Following their arrests, the suspects were transported to Delaware State Police Troop 3 and subsequently arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court. The legal fallout varies significantly based on bond conditions set for each individual involved in the conspiracy.

Mark Boyd was released on an $80,200 unsecured bond.
