TOMORROW, Muslims will perform the first Friday prayer in the holy month of Ramadan. Therefore, it is important for every preacher to prepare the right material for tomorrow’s Friday sermon. Have the Friday preachers prepared the material for tomorrow’s sermon?

If it isn’t there yet, this article conveys Friday sermon material from Rabithah Alawiyah Malang City. The theme is The Cause of the Destruction of a People written by Ali Akbar bin Muhammad bin Aqil. Here’s the review.

The first sermon

Indeed, praise be to God, we praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness, and we seek refuge in God from the evils of ourselves and from the evils of our deeds. Whoever God guides, none can mislead. And whoever He leads astray, there is no guide for him. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. O God, bless and grant peace upon our master Muhammad, his family, his companions, and those who follow them in goodness until the Day of Judgment.

Servants of God, I advise you and me to fear God, for indeed the righteous have won. God Almighty said: O people, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from Here is her husband, and from them he spreads many men and women, and fear God, by whom you ask, and the relatives. Indeed, God is a Watcher over you.

Ma’asyiral muslimin rahimakumullah,

The ups and downs of human life. There was a time when people experienced progress, glory, and success. There are also times when people experience regression, degradation, and even destruction.

Progress and decline, noble and lowly, glory and collapse of the people can occur for several reasons. There are three causes of destruction that we need to understand and avoid.

The first reason for the destruction of the people is the refusal to do the amar makruf nahi munkar. If we want to be a noble people, superior in various fields, advanced in many ways, we must not abandon the amar makruf nahi munkar (calling to good and forbidding evil).

We must not allow physical and moral damage to just happen. There must be real action to eliminate, or at least reduce evil and foster goodness in society.

Dear audience,

Allah SWT does not like people who do damage in all its forms. This is as Allah SWT says in Al-Qur’an Surat Al-Qashas verse 77.

And do not seek corruption on earth, for God does not like corruptors.

Do not do any damage to the earth. Truly, God does not like those who do damage.

People who care about the situation around them, try to enforce the rules as they should, are not indifferent when there are immoralities such as the distribution of alcohol, drugs, gambling, adultery, and so on, they are the people who will be saved by Allah SWT.

On the other hand, people who are indifferent to evil, for him the most important thing is to worship well, perform prayers every day, when it is time to fast they fast, when it is time to recite the Koran they recite the Koran, but there is immorality and there is damage in his environment, he doesn’t want to bother, doesn’t have the slightest concern. even though I deny it wholeheartedly. This action is the cause of painful punishment and torment, both in this world and the hereafter.

That is as Allah SWT says in Al-Qur’an Surat Al-A’raf verse 165.

So when they forgot what they had been reminded with, We saved those who forbid evil, and We seized those who wronged with a miserable punishment because of what they were doing. They drove me

So after they forgot what they were warned about, We saved those who forbade people from doing evil and We inflicted on the unjust people a severe punishment, because they always do wicked things.

Sufyan Ats-Tsauri said, “If you carry out the makruf order, it means that you have strengthened the backs of the believers. And if you carry out the evil deeds, it means that you have made the hypocrites sad.”

Hafizhakumullah Muslims.

Second, the reason for the destruction of the people is drowning in the life of the world. The world is not something illegal for us to have. We can enjoy the world as a field of good deeds. We can enjoy the world as needed. The world we control is not the world that controls us.

If we are controlled by the world, we will deviate from the guidance of religious teachings because we are immersed in it. It is said to be drowning in the pleasures of the world when we make the world as everything as if we will live forever, so that we will do anything to get it, no matter if the path taken is halal or haram.

Remember that the pleasures of the afterlife are much greater than those we experience in this world. This world is only temporary, the hereafter is forever. Therefore, the Prophet SAW gave a parable of the world and the afterlife with a drop of water coming out of a finger compared to water in the ocean in Muslim history.

By God, what is this world in the Hereafter except like when one of you puts his finger in the sea and sees with what it will return?

By Allah, this world is nothing compared to the Hereafter except as one of you dips his finger into the sea. See what’s left on his finger if he takes it out of the sea?

Friday prayer congregation, glorified by Allah,

The third cause of a nation can be destroyed and destroyed due to sin. Sin is a bad judgment given by Allah SWT for an act. Shirk, disobedience to parents, wasting children, taking the lives of others, cheating, lying, drinking alcohol, gambling, and other bad deeds become a black mark in the record of a person’s deeds.

Despicable and despicable actions like the one above become a factor in the destruction of a nation and the reason for the descent of punishment full of suffering in the afterlife. We can learn from the situation of people in the past who were tortured by God with various models of torture. Allah SWT says in Al-Qur’an Surat Al-‘Ankabut verse 40.

So We took each one of them for his sin, and among them was some against whom We sent a judge, and among them was he whom the cry took away, and among them was he whom We caused the earth to swallow. Among them are those whom We drowned: and it was not God who wronged them, but it was they who wronged themselves.

So each (of them) We punished because of his sins. Among them some We pelted upon him with a hail of hailstones, some a loud voice of thunder fell upon him, some We buried in the earth, and some We drowned. God does not want to oppress them at all, but they are the ones who oppress themselves.

Prophet Adam AS and Satan had very different circumstances because of their differences in viewing sinful acts. Prophet Adam was elevated in rank, given glory and an abundance of grace. Meanwhile, Satan lives humiliated forever.

Muhammad al-Maruzi said, “Indeed the devil is wretched because of five things, namely that he does not admit his sins, he does not regret them, he does not berate himself for sinning, he does not quickly repent to Allah, and he despairs of Allah’s mercy.”

“On the contrary, Prophet Adam AS became happy because of five things, namely, he acknowledged his sin, regretted it, berated himself for his sin, quickly repented to Allah, and he did not despair of Allah’s mercy. Even though both of them were disobedient (committed sin) to Allah. ”

Therefore, we can change our behavior patterns from sinful actions to good actions so that we are safe from destruction and misery. Together we move to preserve the values of goodness as desired by Allah SWT and His Messenger SAW. This is the key to safety and happiness.

God willing, small steps will turn into powerful movements and breakthroughs in upholding good values in everyday life. That is the message of today’s Friday sermon. Hopefully it is useful for all of us. Allahummaa amen ya rabbal ‘alamin.

May God bless the Great Qur’an for me and you, and benefit me and you with the verses and wise remembrance it contains, and accept its recitation from me and from you. Indeed, it is the Sublime. O All-Knowing. I say this and I ask God’s forgiveness for me, for you, and for all Muslims, so ask His forgiveness. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

The second sermon

Praise be to God, that is enough. I send my prayers and greetings to our master Muhammad, the Chosen One, and to his family and loyal companions. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that our master Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. As for that, O Muslims

I advise you and myself to fear God, the Most High, the Great, and know that God has commanded you with a great matter. He has commanded you to send blessings and peace upon His noble Prophet, and he said : Indeed, God and His angels bless the Prophet. O you who have believed, bless him and grant him peace.

O God, bless our master Muhammad and the family of our master Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon our master Abraham and the family of our master Abraham, and bless our master Muhammad. And upon the family of our Master Muhammad, just as You blessed our Master Abraham and the family of our Master Abraham, in the worlds, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.

O God, forgive the Muslim men and women, the male and female believers, the living and the dead. O God, protect us from the affliction and the high costs. And the epidemic, and indecency, and the abomination, and transgression, and various swords, and hardships and tribulations, both apparent and hidden, from this country of ours in particular. And among the Muslim countries in general, you are capable of all things.

Servants of God, God commands justice, charity, and giving to relatives, and forbids immorality, abomination, and transgression. He exhorts you so that you may remember.

This is an example of a Friday sermon that preachers can deliver. Hope it is useful. (Z-2)
