Three days of exceptional opera will take place in Eauze.
The National Opéra Éclaté company has settled in Eauze and opened a ticket office on rue Marpoy for a weekend of colorful shows.
On the program, the public will benefit from 3 performances which will take place on Friday 12, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August 2022. These three evenings complement each other in their diversity.
The Parisian life of Offenbach
The opening of the Festival will be punctuated by L’opéra bouffe Parisian life by Offenbach, played in his burlesque and frivolous spirit, against a backdrop of musical comedy. The staging of the work will be a dive in the middle of the 60s, in the yéyé spirit of the great stars of the time with a lot of humor and surprises.
Evenings around Mozart
Two evenings around Mozart and his famous works follow on Saturday August 13 with the Piano concertos n°21 and 23 in a remarkable quintet. The public will appreciate the concert in its exceptional setting: the melody and its harmonies will embrace the ancient archaeological site of La Domus de Cieutat for an intimate and original moment.
Sunday August 14 closes this festival with the work So do all of them. Light characters mournful by the ball of emotions, the game of love produces its effects in this staging sung in Italian and the dialogues in French. Free to love and free to be, this opera is an ode to humanity and feelings.
The Opéra Éclaté company has been offering its shows since 1985 to audiences in rural areas and goes out to meet the inhabitants of Eauze and its territory.
For 36 years, it has enabled young artists to find a job.
This is the case of Marc-Olivier Poingt, a talented young pianist from Agen working with musicians of international stature. He will be accompanied by musicians from the Opéra Éclaté orchestra to sublimate Mozart’s Concerto.
