At least three people were injured after the gas leak explosion in an apartment located on the fourth floor of one of the Urbanismo Guasimal buildings in Aragua state.
The Aragua Firefighters team went to the scene to inspect the incident and transfer the injured to a medical center.
The officials detected a leak of liquefied gas through the pipeline, for which they ordered the total shutdown of the system to prevent another accident.
According to what was disclosed by the fire department, in the affected apartment they were doing plumbing work in the main bathroom when the explosion occurred.
So far the severity of the injuries is unknown.
