Three months have passed since this mural was painted in the Manila sector (carrera 43D with calle 13), a celebrated work of art that was possible thanks to the efforts of merchants and residents grouped for two years in the Manila Neighborhood Corporation.
His legal representative, Ximena Hoyos, hopes that said mural will remain as it is today, with its color and beauty free from vandalism.
“We are so happy because this shows that the citizen initiative can contribute to the recovery of the surroundings of this neighborhood and any of El Poblado. That wall was a mess, surrounded by brush and debris. We work together to make it beautiful, ready for artistic intervention. We hope to obtain more resources to do the same in other abandoned sectors”.
