Three women arrested for network linked to child rape

One of them is a relative of the abused minor’s grandmother.

Three women were arrested in Lara state for allegedly being linked to a network of child prostitution and animal abuse.

The information was released by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, who pointed out that they are linked to the case of the rape of a minor, whose video went viral on social networks.

As part of the investigations into this material, a search of a house in Barquisimeto was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Bolivarian National Police, said journalist Kary Peraza.

They also arrested the ladies, since apparently they recorded themselves and then sold the videos while they tortured animals. One of them is a cousin of the abused infant’s grandmother.

The trio was placed at the order of the Public Ministry.

The authorities are still searching for those who appear in the child’s video, but it turned out that they are outside the country, since it was determined that the audiovisual material is from at least two or three years ago.

For this reason, an Interpol alert was activated to find her. They appear to reside in Colombia, added Peraza.

An additional element that was known is that a young woman aspiring to be PoliLara is a relative of two of the prisoners and for this reason she was rejected.
