Mannar: The indelible memories of the late singer and music director Dr. KG Jayan are also etched in the Mannar Thrikuratti Mahadevar Temple. KG Jayan is also a genius who has won the Ramayana award given in connection with the All Kerala Ramayana Mela, which has been held under the auspices of Thrikuratti Mahadeva Sevasamiti for two decades. KG Jayan was awarded the Ramayana Puraskar at the 20th All Kerala Ramayana Mela held on 14th August 2022.
