Information from cretalive states that, after the funeral of the 65-year-old, a key piece of information reached the authorities, according to which a security camera had “caught” movement from a nighttime visit of a 45-year-old Ierapetritis to Germanos’ house, a few hours before the latter was found dead.
As the same information sources report, this information, combined with the removal of the phone’s privacy and material from other cameras, led the authorities to issue an arrest warrant for the 45-year-old, with whom the victim allegedly maintained friendly relations.
It is estimated that on the fateful night something happened and the 45-year-old, according to the police, allegedly pushed the unfortunate man.
It should be noted that as part of the investigations, an exhumation of the German’s body was ordered and aggravating findings emerged from the forensic examination.
According to information from cretalive, the medical examiner is said to have detected two blows, but the cause of the 65-year-old’s death has not been fully clarified. Additional special tests are expected, as burial and exhumation have preceded, processes that alter the evidence.
The 45-year-old is expected to be arraigned tomorrow, Tuesday, before Investigator Lasithiou, on the charge of homicide.
