“I have just been scammed, gentlemen, through Davivienda’s supposed red telephone… They told me that I was the beneficiary of a VAT refund and that does not exist,” said the actress. The 36-year-old Venezuelan believed the story to the thieves and agreed to hand over personal data. It wasn’t until she saw that a large sum of money was withdrawn from her account that she realized it had been stolen.
As if that were not enough, the protagonist of ‘Pa quererte’ commented that the scam could have been worse, as the crooks tried to make a second withdrawal for a higher sum, but a necessary message never reached her.
Likewise, the naive actress said that it is possible that she will not recover the money, since the same bank warns that refunds are not made.
Faced with this situation, Pardau wanted to make a public complaint so that other people do not fall for the same deception and lose their ticket.
