Because if you think that some content you want to post is aimed only at users over 18 years old, TikTok allows you to activate a warning. Thus, only people of legal age will be able to view the publication.

On the iPhone/iPad app, follow the normal video publishing process. When you get to the “Publish” screen, tap “More options” and turn on “Adult themes”. The platform will then remind you that if the video violates the terms of use (such as sexual content and violence), it will be removed. Tap “OK” to confirm.
Then, select the “X” in the upper left corner and publish the post normally.
