Violence once again showed its claws in football and hurt genuine fans who have nothing to do with it. After the serious incidents that ended with the arrest of members of the front line of Los Pibes de Racing, the club’s bar, the match between Racing and Huracán changed its schedule for security reasons. After the request of the Aprevide, it was confirmed that the match will be held this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and not at 9:30 p.m. as planned.
The security agency made the request to the Racing leadership, which quickly accepted the change in the schedule to avoid greater risks late at night. At first the idea was to bring it forward to 6:00 p.m., but finally later they confirmed from the agency at 7:30 p.m. This was confirmed by Racing through its platforms.
On Saturday, on Provincial Route 16, near Monte Grande, the Police arrested 20 people identified with the bar, including Leandro Paredes, its leader. Before that, there was a shooting, in addition to the hijacking of a car and a 9-millimeter pistol.
According to reports, Paredes, the ringleader of the bar, has two trials for violence in soccer. Last year, during a raid, a 38-millimeter weapon, projectiles, nine cell phones, 2,000,000 pesos in cash and 7,000 dollars were seized at his house. After a short time he was released, as usually happens…
Paredes and Martín Ramírez, his deputy, today are the most complicated in the case. It is that they led the caravan of the bar in an Audi A3, filmed in which the 9 mm was found. In turn, Martínez continued to go to the field with impunity despite the fact that he had an arrest warrant for aggravated coercion in the court of guarantees nine of Avellaneda, in another case for violence in soccer.
HOW RACING GETS TO THIS APPOINTMENT
Regarding football, for this match Fernando Gago will recover the captain, his pillar in defense: Leonardo Sigali. El Oso has just missed two games due to an edema on the outside of his right knee that caused a blow he suffered against Godoy Cruz. And Jonathan Galván will come out in his place.
As for absences compared to the last game (against Unión), Pintita will be missing two starters. And one, for a long time… Johan Carbonero, his most unbalancing offensive piece in one-on-one, underwent surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and will be off the pitch for nearly seven months. Thus, everything indicates that he will be supplanted by Gabriel Hauche. While Gabriel Rojas will miss, at least, the next four games of the Professional League (plus the debut on Wednesday in the Libertadores), including the Avellaneda classic.
The left winger had a grade two injury to the medial collateral ligament of his right knee. In this way, Óscar Opazo would enter through that zone of the defense, despite being right-handed. The DT would turn to the Chilean because Gonzalo Piovi, the first replacement option for Rojas at that point, is recovering from a tear in the rectus femoris of his left leg.
POSSIBLE FORMATION OF THE ACADEMY
Racing is coming up with an important string of commitments between the League and the Copa Libertadores, for which there will be rotation due to tactical decisions and the idea of balancing some loads, according to each player.
Beyond this, facing the crossing this Saturday, this is how the Academy would form to receive Diego Davobe’s team: Gabriel Arias; Facundo Mura, Leonardo Sigali, Emiliano Insua, Oscar Opazo; Juan Nardoni, Hannibal Moreno, Jonathan Gomez or Maxi Morales; Matthias Rojas, Rosemary or Warrior and Hauche.
