The Ministry of Health and Population said that Mawlid al-Nabawi sweets contain beneficial nuts, but they contain many sugars that are harmful to health.

The Ministry of Health and Population issued a number of pieces of advice, as follows:

1- You should eat one or two pieces of candy

2- The size of a piece of Mawlid al-Nabawi candy should not exceed the size of a matchbox

3- It is preferable to eat sweets in the morning so that there is time to burn their calories

4- Diabetics should limit the amount of sweets they eat, with the need to monitor sugar levels

5- Refrain from giving sweets to nut allergy patients

6- Don’t forget to drink water and eat vegetables and fruits throughout the day.
