Dubai: The authorities have warned passengers traveling through Dubai airport as there is a possibility of increasing the number of passengers due to Eid-ul-Fitr.

Due to increasing traffic, the airport has also prepared special systems for passengers. Passengers traveling on Emirates flights should use home check-in, early check-in and self-services check-in systems, officials said.

In Dubai and Ajman, Emirates has city check-in facilities. So the passengers can take advantage of these to reduce congestion. Passengers traveling on flydubai flights must arrive at the airport at least four hours before the flight’s departure time. It is also advised that those traveling on other flights should arrive three hours before the departure time of the flight.

Passengers to the US and Tel Aviv must deliver luggage twelve hours in advance. Passengers in the emirates of Dubai and Sharjah can use the home check-in service. Meanwhile, children above the age of twelve can also use smart gates to ease passport control procedures.

The authorities advised the passengers to carry the necessary documents and check the weight of the luggage before arriving at the airport.
