Member of the Liberation and Development Bloc, MP Ali Khreis, stressed during a memorial ceremony in the town of Burj Rahal, that “the expected election date on the fifteenth of May, will be a pivotal and important station, and everyone must bear responsibility away from the names and location of the candidate, because the candidate is not for his family or town, but for all of Lebanon.” and for the sake of the line to which he belongs.”
He said: “We have been paying the tax of our victory over the Israeli enemy for more than ten years, and we have been facing crisis after crisis, the last of which is the economic and financial siege we are in today, where the world gathers to pay us the price of this victory, which was never mentioned in everyone’s dictionary, as we were able, thanks to Our people, our resistance, and the blood of our best youth will inflict the worst defeats on the Israeli enemy.” Therefore, today, through the United States of America and its embassy in Beirut, we want to bet on obtaining the largest number of parliamentary seats.”
He added: “We are facing a stage that may be one of the most dangerous stages that Lebanon has experienced, where there are countless internal crises, including economic, financial, hospitalization and others, especially as we are in a country that is almost collapsing, so we have to implement our programs and do national action, as we proposed in the past and are still, The necessity of building a nation on sound foundations where justice prevails and setting a modern electoral law that satisfies everyone away from sectarianism.”
Khreis criticized “some who seek to distort the image of some candidates,” and said: “We have never lost sight of our people and our people to rise again. This resistance would have been the enemy in the heart of the capital, Beirut.”
He stressed that President Nabih Berri “will remain the safety valve of this country, and it will remain as it was. The first resister will not be deterred by some dissonance from here and there.”
