TO SEE | A painful marriage proposal for a triathlete

A triathlete made a particularly painful marriage proposal during the Ironman race in Tallinn, Estonia, last weekend, various European media report.

After completing the race, the Spaniard Christian Moriatheil put his knee on the ground in front of his girlfriend to ask for her hand.

In pain following the ordeal, the athlete collapsed to the ground before he could even open the box containing the ring.

She still said “yes”: Spanish triathlete Christian Moriatheil decided to propose to a girl after the Ironman Tallinn race. However, the athlete’s convulsions prevented the marriage proposal.

The triathlete needed two event organizers who helped him up and finally complete his marriage proposal.

Fortunately for him, his efforts and his pain were rewarded: his girlfriend said yes!
