Today, Thursday, the activities of the Carthage International Festival in its fifty-sixth session, after an absence of two years due to the repercussions of the “Corona” pandemic.
“Lovers of the World” will be the title of the festival’s opening show by Tunisian artist Abdelhamid Boushnak, whose tickets sold out quickly due to the great public turnout. It is a huge comedy show inspired by the famous TV series “Nouba”, in which many art stars in Tunisia participate, and includes an exclusive performance of two new songs written by Tunisian singer Lotfi Bouchnak sings.
The “Carthage” audience will also be on a date, as part of the festival’s activities, with the famous Korean band Big “Boys in Groove”, which starred with its first album “Hello”, which gained great popularity and talent in addition to rap and dance.
As usual, Arab singers will shine at the Carthage International Festival, whose nights will be marked by Tunisian artists Saber Al-Rabie, Lebanese Ragheb Alama, Syrian Nour Muhanna, Algerian Diriasiat, Palestinian Faraj Suleiman, Iraqi Saif Nabil, Iraqi Rahma Riad, King of Tunisian Rap “Bilti”, Ziad Gharsa, Tunisian operatic Hassan Al-Dous, and the duo Nour. Arjoun, Salim Arjoun and Naseer Shamma with his charming comedian and his group “Builders of Peace”, to perform the closing night of the festival, singer Sherine Abdel Wahab.
The audience of the “Carthage Festival” will enjoy distinguished artistic performances by “Al-Hadra”, the “Quultrah Sound System” group, Haider Hamdi with his band, Alpha Blondi, the “Adonis” group, the American Jackson Brothers, the South African “Nomsibo Zikodi” and the Nigerian “CC” , “Isabelle Gevory” and “Cadebustani” and the “Labas” group by Najem Bouizoul, of Algerian origin, and the “Gnaoua Division” group with its Maghreb and African instruments.
