Today is expected to witness a continued rise in temperatures, with extremely hot weather during the day prevailing over Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and the south of the country, hot and humid on the northern coasts, moderate temperatures at night over the north of the country up to northern Upper Egypt, and hot in southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
The Meteorological Authority also expects today to witness wind activity that may cause sand and dust over most parts of the Republic, and chances of moderate rain that may be heavy and thundery at times in Salloum, Matrouh, and Siwa, extending light in the evening to areas of Alexandria, which may be moderate at times.
