Vaudois Tonton is one of the most popular French-speaking streamers on Twitch, with 407,000 followers and thousands of viewers present every morning. It will therefore naturally be present at the Seventythe charity event organized by Zerator, this weekend.

Uncle, what content do you offer each morning?
I’m a multigaming streamer, testing the latest releases, diving back into retro games and taking the time to chat. My goal is to bring good humor from 7am, so that people wake up with a smile!

What are the reasons for your success?
The regularity of my streams. It will soon be six years that I stream every day, 365 days a year. As I am a morning person, I was lucky to be on a schedule that was not very busy at the time.

How did you get into streaming?
Very naturally. I’ve always been a big gamer besides my studies and I liked to watch streams. I figured if I liked watching them, maybe some might like to share with me too. And it took a little better than expected!

Your morning schedules were very useful during the “Pixel War»…
Yes, with the Onutrem streamer, we were the two irreducible to hold the house with our communities! That day, I must have been live for fourteen hours starting around 5:30-6am, until Kameto and the others took over.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I’m a jack of all trades. I like to play guitar, ukulele or drums, I also like sports and digital painting.

What made you decide to take part in Zevent, Zerator’s charity event?
For me, it’s a fair return. As I live off the generosity of people, which is pretty crazy when you think about it, it’s completely normal to give back my time for a good cause. We must not tell ourselves that on our scale, we cannot do anything. On the contrary, all together, like at Zevent, we can make a difference.

What have you planned for the Zevent?
I thought about Donation Goals which should be very pleasant. I was also contacted for several collaborations for this weekend, for example with Solary or streamers like Jeel, Shaunz, Little Big Whale… And as I stream standing up, there will always be lots of energy, good mood and great dancing!

What advice do you give to someone who wants to become a streamer?
We should not start wanting to become a streamer! We have to do it because it amuses us and hope it takes. In addition, I advise to give regular appointments and to be punctual. Of course, this job can make you dream, but you have to cover your back by finishing your studies or your apprenticeship. And become a full-time streamer only when you earn enough money to live off it.

donations for the environment

The 7th edition of Seventy will take place from Friday 6 p.m. to Sunday evening, with a showcase on Thursday evening. Created by French streamer Zerator, the event will raise funds this year for five organizations protecting the environment, such as the WWF or SeaCleaners. In addition to Tonton, around fifty streamers will participate such as Baghera Jones, Jeel, Domingo or Ponce. In 2021, more than 10 million euros had been collected for the NGO Action against Hunger.
