Togolese banks continue to clean up the credit portfolio

In Togo, the gross rate of deterioration of the credit portfolio of banks fell from 17% at June 30, 2021 to 10% at the end of June 2022. An “encouraging development” welcomed by the Minister in charge of Finance, Sani Yaya, during the last meeting of the National Credit Council (CNC) held on October 6, 2022 in Lomé.
