Tokyo’s Nikkei index opens 0.56% higher, by Reuters

TOKYO (Archyde.com) – The benchmark index rose in early trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Thursday.

The Nikkei rose 0.56 percent to 27,654.72 points, while the broader Topix index rose 0.42 percent to 1,996.09 points.
