“Tolkien is rolling in his grave”: Elon Musk’s sincere tweet about ‘The Rings of Power’ | TV and Show

The billionaire issued an honest opinion about ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ in which he assured that even Tolkien would not like the series.

Last Thursday the first 2 chapters of the long-awaited prequel to The Lord of the rings, the popular JRR Tolkien saga that went down in history in movies and books. Baptized as The Rings of Power It keeps fans of the franchise on their toes even though it has already disappointed some, like billionaire Elon Musk.

The CEO of Tesla used his Twitter account -as usual- to issue a brief opinion on the new delivery of Amazon Prime. According to his perceptions, even Tolkien himself would not have liked the new series, “Tolkien is rolling in his grave,” he tweeted.

In the same thread, He also referred to the male characters that were presented in the first 2 chapters. “Almost all the male characters so far are cowards, idiots or both,” she said.

Along the same lines, he excluded from this opinion one of the female characters “only Galadriel is brave, intelligent and nice,” he said. She is an elf from the Noldor clan, who in this installment will have an important role, as predicted by the first glimpse of history.

Musk also responded to those who disagreed with him. “90% of my comments are bots,” she exaggerated. But what the billionaire who tries to reach Mars says does not seem to be reflected in the figures of the streaming portal.

Amazon Prime revealed that its premiere had 25 million viewers, becoming a milestone for the platform to date. This would be the best premiere in the history of Amazon.

“It is the tens of millions of fans who are enjoying Middle-earth, clearly with the same excitement as us, who are our true measure of success,” said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios.
