Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said that midfielder Toni Kroos and winger Vinicius Junior can join Chelsea’s visit next week in the Champions League, following missing the 2-0 victory over Cadiz in the Spanish Premier League on Saturday.
Former Germany player Kroos and Brazilian winger Vinicius, probably the most influential player in Real Madrid this season, left the squad once morest modest Cadiz to recover from a muscle strain.
“They mightn’t play because of a little problem,” Ancelotti told reporters.
He added, “They trained separately, but tomorrow they can train in a normal way, and the two will be fine in Tuesday’s match.”
Real is preparing to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the second leg of the quarter-finals, following winning the first leg in Madrid 2-0 earlier this week.
Real occupies second place in the Spanish League, by ten points behind its rivals Barcelona, which has a match left.
