The public health agency revealed, this Wednesday February 28that “2,019 imported cases of dengue were identified” as part of surveillance carried out from May 1 to December 8, 2023.

Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur

Located in the south-east of mainland France, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region is the fifth region most affected by imported cases of dengue fever according to Santé Publique France, with 175 cases confirmed between May 1 and 8 December 2023.

New Aquitaine

Still in the south of France, but to the west, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region is also one of the most affected by dengue fever according to Public Health France data, since 186 cases were confirmed over the period analyzed. .

Occitanie
