Director Khaled Youssef revealed that he will be watching two series in Ramadan 2024, which impressed him and forced him – in his words – to watch them, praising all the elements involved in the two works.
Khaled wrote on his official Facebook account: “I followed two series and they forced me to follow them due to the beauty and creativity of all the work elements in them. The first of them is the series with the highest viewership rate by the distinguished young director Yasmine Kamel, a great creator who knows very well how to choose camera angles, how to move them, how to move the actor, and how to create… Tight compositions, I saw her in the series, holding all the elements of the work with an iron hand, but covering them with soft silk. The actresses and actors and their clothes (and the look) that they look in are in themselves creativity that is credited to Yasmine and credited to them.”
Khaled continued, “Yasmine manages her actors as if she were a director with extensive experience of no less than decades. Her choice of filming locations is amazing. There is not a single place where you feel that the maker’s hand has been extended to it due to its hyper-realism. As for the story, scenario, and dialogue, it is wonderful, natural, and spontaneous, and cannot be controlled.” An actor says a sentence and you feel that a writer wrote it for him.”
Khaled Youssef said, “The basic dramatic line (the line of the heroine’s family) fulfills all its pillars. You understand each individual well… you are convinced of each of them’s motives, their positions, and even their simple actions, all of which are logical and stem from a deep understanding of each character who deceives in livelihood (and deceives those involved), with the utmost simplicity and smoothness.” We understand the ongoing dramatic conflict, and we as viewers take sides, sympathize and reject, love and hate.”
He added, “Even the sub-narrative line, the story of Camellia, was woven with great craftsmanship and did not distort the origin of the drama, and it seems that it will be influential and effective in the original dramatic line. Bravo, Yasmine and Payne, that when you worked with me as an assistant, you were intentionally hiding from me that you are a great innovator, and I confess to you, it is that you surprised me. Bravo, the screenwriter, Samar.” immaculate”.
He concluded, “Congratulations to all the viewers of this series with the wonderful Intisar in one of her most important and sincere roles, the dazzling Salma Abu Deif, the brilliant and explosive talent of Farah Youssef, the promising Laila Zaher, and the enormous symphony of actors and actresses led by the great Inaam Salousa and the great actor Muhammad Mahmoud, and the talented convincing Islam Ibrahim and the one with the striking appearance.” Very influential Ahmed Fahim.
Khaled Youssef did not reveal the second work that he liked, and he wrote that he would talk regarding it in a new post, confirming that he liked and was amazed.
It is worth noting that Khaled Youssef participated in Ramadan 2023 in the series “His Secret Al-Bataa”, based on a literary text by the great writer Youssef Idris, starring: Ahmed Fahmy, Ahmed Al-Saadani, Hussein Fahmy, Naglaa Badr, Menna Fadali, Reem Mustafa, Mahmoud Qabil, Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Hala Sidqi, Menna Fadali.
