A Flydubai spokesman said that the volatile weather conditions witnessed in the UAE today, April 16, affected our flight schedule at Dubai International Airport, and some flights were canceled as a result, in addition to some delays in a number of flights.
He added: We are working hard to minimize any impact on our passengers’ travel schedules and are coordinating with all parties at the airport. We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and advise our passengers to arrive sufficiently early for their flight to the airport and check the status of their flight on flydubai.com.
Flydubai provided a set of tips and advice for travelers during rainy weather.
Travel tips – during bad weather:
*Passengers are advised to update their contact details via the Manage Booking section on the website flydubai.com.
*Online check-in is available between 48 hours and 75 minutes before flight departure from Dubai.
*Passengers are advised to check their booking for baggage allowances. More information about baggage can be found here https://www.flydubai.com/en/flying-with-us/baggage/Or contact our call center at 00971600544445.
* Travelers are advised to arrive at the airport at least four hours before their flight departure time. Please note that check-in offices close 60 minutes before flight departure time.
* Passengers can save time at the airport by using one of our new self-service kiosks in Terminal 2, where they can print their baggage tag, complete online check-in and then go directly to the dedicated baggage drop desk.
*Passengers are advised to regularly check the flight information screens of the departure gate and ensure they are at the gate sufficient time to board the aircraft.
