Professional Dota 2 player Topias Topson Taavitsainen began training an unusual hero in the center lane. For the last eight days, the two-time champion of The International’s most popular character has been Centaur Warrunner. During this time, Taavitsainen played nine cards on the hero – eight of them were in second position.
Centaur Warrunner is traditionally considered an offlaner, although sometimes esports players took him to the support position. However, the hero almost never appeared in the mid lane.
Of the eight maps in mid Centaur Warrunner, Taavitsainen won six. Topson started his build with Phase Boots and Eternal Shroud, followed by BKB and Aghanim’s Scepter. In the skill build, the eSports player gave preference to the first two abilities and did not study the passive skill until level 11.
