A Toronto real estate agent Sophie Bokelmann found herself in a sticky situation last week.
Known for sharing snippets of her daily life on TikTok, Bokelmann couldn’t help but detail her somewhat unsettling visit to a local restaurant, even though she chose to keep the restaurant’s name a secret.

In an August 27 TikTok video, Bokelmann recounted her disconcerting experience.
“Is inflation that bad?” she said. “I just went to the restaurant between two meals and asked the waitress to serve me something light.”
She was expecting a delicious plate of tuna tartare, a dish traditionally made of raw tuna seasoned with lemon juice, olive oil and avocado. Bokelmann looked forward to his appetizing meal.
However, what happened to her table left her perplexed.

“They gave me a cane of tuna and potato chips,” exclaimed Bokelmann. “They didn’t even take the tuna out of the can.”
Bokelmann says she’s not one to send a plate back to the kitchen, but the dish was “too disgusting.”
Eventually the waitress brought her bread instead.
Without revealing the name of the restaurant, Bokelmann indicated that she would not return to the restaurant in question.
