With the support of Master Citizenshipa bi-national company and a reference in the recognition of Italian citizenship through the courts, Sacani will be live in Dallas, Texas, to record the event for his almost 2 million channel subscribers Space Todayon YouTube, at 2pm (Brasília time).

The company has helped Sacani with several scientific trips around the world, providing support with technological and tourist equipment. Together, this year they have already carried out a historic expedition to Italian volcanoes and accompanied the launch of Space X’s Starship rocket in the United States.

“Sérgio is the culture of good information. We are very proud to have you as a partner of Master Cidadania and to be able to carry out so many historic trips together”, says Dr. Eduardo Carraro, lawyer and managing partner of the company. “This year, we will still carry out many historic actions in the sector”, he adds.

Why Texas?

Texas was the region chosen to broadcast the eclipse spectacle as it is a privileged location, thanks to its ideal geographic position that will provide a clear and prolonged view of the phenomenon.

“Texas weather in April is generally favorable, with reduced chances of cloud obstruction, significantly increasing the likelihood of a successful observing experience,” says the geologist.

Last year, Sacani and the team broadcast the solar eclipse in João Pessoa, with an exclusive camera in the interior of Ceará. “Our forecast was 100 thousand simultaneous viewers, but we exceeded all expectations, with almost 500 thousand people connected simultaneously”, he comments.

This time, the influencer and the team predict 150 thousand simultaneous viewers at the height of the eclipse and 500 thousand post-live views in 24 hours.

The phenomenon

A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. People located in the center of the Moon’s shadow, when it hits the Earth, will experience the darkness of a total solar eclipse. An event like this in the USA will only happen once more in 2044. And in Brazil only in 2045.

According to information from NASA, if weather conditions prove favorable, the first region in North America to experience the full phenomenon will be the Mexican Pacific coast, at approximately 3:07 pm on Monday (8) Brasília time.

After that moment, the eclipse will travel across the United States, passing through Texas and crossing other states, until reaching Maine. It will then cross Canada, passing through Ontario and head towards the North Atlantic, leaving the coast of Newfoundland at around 4:16 pm.
