Wolverhampton face Brighton in replay victory
Tottenham Hotspur, played by Son Heung-min, competes with Preston North End in the second division to advance to the round of 16 of the English Football Association (FA) Cup.
Tottenham of the English Premier League faced Preston, who belongs to the Championship (Part 2), in an away game as a result of the draw for the FA Cup 4th round (Round of 32) of the 2022-2023 season, which was held on the 9th (Korean time).
Tottenham won 1-0 with Harry Kane’s winning goal and advanced to the round of 32, with Son Heung-min playing full-time in the third round against Portsmouth in the third division on the 7th.
Tottenham, who were eliminated in the round of 16 for the last three seasons in a row in the FA Cup, will challenge for the first time in 32 years since the 1990-1991 season.
Preston beat second division Huddersfield Town 3-1 in the third round.
Tottenham last faced Preston in the 2009 League Cup, winning 5-1 with a hat-trick from Peter Crouch.
Wolverhampton Wanderers, who drew 2-2 with Liverpool with Hwang Hee-chan’s equalizer and had a replay, will also face off against Brighton & Hove Albion, the same Premier League team, in the round of 32.
Round 4 will be held between the 27th and 30th, local time.
