It’s the return of the Toulouse Game Show (TGS), in a spring version! On May 13 and 14, the pop culture convention will once again take place at the Diagora convention center in Labège, near Toulouse. The event will celebrate its ten years in 2023.
Several guests from all walks of life
This year again, the TGS Springbreak welcomes many guests, including Seem, professional fighting video game player and TV host on the Game One channel. With 67 podiums to her credit recorded in the Guinness World Record, she holds the female record for the number of podiums in mixed fighting game tournaments! It will offer entertainment all weekend.
For fans of series and films, actors are invited for these two days of the show. In a humorous video, Gerard Vives announced himself for the event. “The first time” for the actor, famous for his roles in sitcoms of the 90s like “The girls next door” or “Hélène and the boys”.
The actors Marjorie Bourgeois, of “Mysteries of Love”, David Krüger, French voice of “The Rock” among others, Nicolas Matthy, dubbing actor for Bersek or One Piece and Audrey Sourdive, who lends her voice in films for Lady Gaga and Princess Peach will be present.
Youtubers, but also illustrators and musicians are added to the twenty or so guests announced. Signing sessions and conferences are organized.
Exhibitors and events over two days
In the aisles of this spring convention, several exhibitors (authors, illustrators, restaurants, associations, etc.) will be set up to immerse you in pop culture.
In terms of entertainment, a video game area with e-sport tournaments, including one nintendo space. For cosplayers, the selection for the Coupe de France de Cosplay will take place on the stage, as well as a parade and other cosplay competitions. On May 7 at 8 p.m., registration ends!
Shows, meetings, concerts, exhibitions… There will be something for everyone for the tenth anniversary of the TGS Springbreak.
The show will open its doors at 10 a.m. on Saturday May 13, 2023 and the convention is still looking for volunteers for this edition.
